The new BMW G310RR is basically a rebadged TVS Apache RR 310, which is currently available in the Indian markets with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2.65 lakh. However, there are some key differences. BMW Motorrad has developed the G310RR in collaboration with TVS Motor Company India and also praised the brand’s quality management during the launch event. The new bike gets four ride modes named Track, Urban, Rain, and Sport, which are already on offer on the Apache RR 310. Each of these modes has its own ABS calibration.

Speaking of the major differences between the BMW and the TVS, these are the paint and colour options, as well as the graphics on the TFT display. While the screen technology appears to be the same on the outside, it's odd that the BMW lacks a Bluetooth connection, especially given its pricing. Some key features of the newly launched BMW G310RR include twin projector headlamps, an LED taillamp, traction control, turn-by-turn navigation, a bi-directional quick-shifter and more.

At its heart, BMW G310RR is powered by the same 312.2cc liquid-cooled, reverse-inclined engine that powers the Apache RR310. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission and has an assist and a slipper clutch. It churns out 34 HP and 27.3 Nm of torque in Sport and Track modes, while in Urban and Rain modes, the output is restricted to 25.8 HP and 25 Nm of torque. The fully-faired bike has telescopic front forks and a mono-shock at the rear, just like the TVS-owned bike.
