The all-new BMW 5 Series is not just an evolution; it's a revolution in design and technology. Envisioned to be larger and more comfortable, the interior boasts a sophisticated twin-screen layout – a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen – featuring the latest iDrive 8.5 system. Uniquely, it offers a fully vegan interior option. Powered by 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines with 48V mild-hybrid technology, the 5 Series aims to set new standards. Additionally, BMW plans to introduce a long-wheelbase version to directly rival the Mercedes-Benz E-Class long wheelbase.

2. BMW i5:

Derived from the 5 Series, the BMW i5 represents the brand's foray into the electric vehicle segment. Overseas, it is available in two versions – M60 xDrive and eDrive40. The M60, a high-performance variant, boasts an impressive 601hp and 820Nm, accelerating from 0-100kph in a mere 3.8 seconds. The eDrive40, a single-motor version, features 340hp and 430Nm. Both versions offer an outstanding WLTP range, promising a driving experience that aligns with BMW's legacy of performance and innovation.

3. Mini Cooper SE:

Expected Price: Rs 58 lakh

Mini, a brand synonymous with style and compact elegance, introduces the Cooper SE – a three-door electric hatchback. Built on a bespoke EV platform, it maintains Mini's iconic design elements with circular headlights and a new, larger front grille. Inside, a unique circular 9.4-inch OLED infotainment screen, developed in collaboration with Samsung, adds a touch of modern sophistication. The Cooper SE, with a 184hp, 290Nm motor and a 40.7kWh battery, promises an efficient yet thrilling driving experience, setting a new benchmark for electric hatchbacks.

4. Mini Countryman:

Expected Price: Rs 50 lakh-65 lakh

Expected Launch: Mid 2024

The Mini Countryman, a five-door crossover, enters its third generation with enhanced size and cabin space. Notably, it becomes the first Mini to offer Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), emphasizing safety in addition to style. With international models offering electric, turbo-petrol, and diesel powertrains, the Indian market can expect the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol and electric variants. The electric version comes in two configurations, offering impressive ranges of 462km and 433km, respectively.
