The association of Yamaha with Monster Energy has resulted in five special edition models for the Indonesian market. The first product is slightly familiar, known by the name R15 V3 and getting just two changes in the Indian market. The R15 Monster Energy Edition in Indonesia is available with USD forks and aluminium rear footpeg holders along with the special livery. For those who love quarter-litre machines, Yamaha has brought the new R25 with USD forks and all the updated features to the Monster Energy list. The model is also available with a 321cc (R3) engine worldwide.
The Indonesia-exclusive Vixion, MX King and Aerox 155 are the three remaining products that went forward with the Monster Energy special edition livery. All of them share the huge M moniker on the panels along with black gloss base paint and blue inserts. The working parts are similar to the stock models while no performance upgrade has been given to the products with special branding.

Yamaha R15 V3[/caption]
The launch of the Yamaha R15 V3 Monster Energy edition in India is definitely possible. The sportbike is powered by a 155.1cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. The most powerful production 155cc engine is good for 19.3 HP and 14.7 Nm of torque. The R15 V3 features assist and slipper clutch, VVA, six-speed gearbox, and many other segment-leading features.
The standard model of the R15 V3 is available in India for INR 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Indian market could get the Monster Energy edition based on the existing R15 V3 as Yamaha had earlier launched the MotoGP edition for a price jump of INR 2000. The Darknight Edition is currently available with the same price difference and expecting the R15 V3 Monster Energy edition to get a price tag of INR 1.42 lakh won’t be wrong at all.
