SV Stickers, a motorcycle customization shop in Chennai has recently wrapped a Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 in a colour combination of gloss metallic bright blue and gloss black. The combination of two enchanting colours offers the motorcycle a distinguished look that is powerful enough to turn heads on the road.
The windscreen of the motorcycle has been adorned with a glossy wrap while the headlight setup features a hint of glossy blue detailing to match with the overall look of the bike. The glossy metallic bright blue wrap goes all the way from the front mudguard to the side fairing and the fuel tank has also been finished in the same shade.
The tail light of the motorcycle has been adorned with a glossy black look while the addition of minimal blue detailing at the rear end adds to the unique styling of the sportbike. Apart from getting a wrap to the body panels, this typical Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 remains mechanically unchanged.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 149cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 17HP and a peak torque of 15Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a motocross suspension at the rear.
In terms of braking, the Yamaha R15 V2 features disc brakes on either side. The 150cc sportbike was discontinued in India a few years ago to make way for the R15 V3, which is currently available in the market with a starting price tag of INR 1.49 lakhs (ex-showroom).
