The top 10 best-selling scooters of India are struggling for big sales numbers as the gap between the sales figure of geared and gearless products has widened in the last few months. Honda Activa has slowed down the domination of the scooters in the Indian market as the gap between the best-selling scooter and the Hero Splendor is now more visible.
The scooter is available in three variant options and scored 2,10,961 units in April 2019. The number is slightly smaller in comparison the sales figure of the next nine scooters combined and thus, cannot be called small during in-segment comparisons.

Hero Pleasure and Yamaha Ray were two closest competitors with 10,689 and 10,336 units respectively. The most powerful and sporty option here is TVS NTorq while the least powerful scooter on the list is Hero Pleasure. The era of gearless two-wheelers changed the rider’s view regarding city commute as automatic shifts are helpful in keeping stress away that comes through extensive gear changing needs when riding a motorcycle or a geared-scooter.
