Revolt Motors organised a final launch event on August 28, 2019, where it announced the pricing of its AI-enabled motorcycles, RV300 and RV400. The electric motorcycles have got everyone talking due to the pricing scheme under which they are available that is called ‘My Revolt Plan’ or MRP. It is an unusual method applied by the brand under which the bikes can be purchased through a monthly payment and not through a lump-sum ex-showroom price. The company also added that interested customers need not pay the ex-showroom price, a down payment, or the servicing charges and the bike will belong to them from Day 1. They just need to pay a nominal amount and bring their Adhaar card in order to purchase the bike. Under the ‘My Revolt Plan’, the RV300 is available at a monthly price of INR 2,999, whereas the RV400 base model is available at a monthly rate of INR 3,499 and its premium model at INR 3,999, which you need to pay for 37 consecutive months.
