Made-in-India Euro-Spec KTM 125 Duke Launched in Sri Lanka

According to recent reports, the Euro-spec KTM 125 Duke has been launched in Sri Lanka. The KTM’s India facility is responsible for exporting various KTM motorcycles across several countries in the world and that includes Sri Lanka as well. The motorcycle is now available in Sri Lanka at a price tag of LKR 649,950 (INR 2.56 lakh approx). The price tag for the new 125 Duke now stands close to the Duke 200, which is currently available in the Sri Lankan market at LKR 676,950 (INR 2.66 lakh approx). Based on the underpinnings of the new model of the 390 Duke, the Euro-Spec KTM 125 Duke features the same dual-tone colour scheme with sharper tank shrouds as well as extensions that offers it a beast look. The motorcycle further features a full-LED headlight setup inspired from the Duke 390. In addition to this, the Euro-Spec 125 Duke gets ride-by-wire technology that offers maximum control while at the same time the motorcycle features premium Metzler tyres at either end. With a fuel capacity of 13.4-litres, the KTM 125 Duke features a steel fuel tank which improves the ergonomics of the motorcycle. With a seat height of 830mm and a ground clearance of 185mm, the motorcycle is easy to handle on every terrain. The dry weight of the motorcycle stands at 137kg which is 4kgs lesser when compared to the India-spec variant. The brand has equipped the Euro-spec KTM 125 Duke with a flat TFT display with automatic brightness control and “KTM MyRide” connectivity. The Euro-spec model is not expected to hit the Indian market since the hefty price tag of around INR 2 lakh won't be suitable for the Indian audience though, the brand will be launching the BS6-compliant model of the 125 Duke in India soon.
