The first image of the production-ready 2021 KTM RC 390 has recently surfaced online. It has been leaked through the company's future product portfolio presentation. The brand has reportedly been testing the updated motorcycle variant from the past few months while the newly surfaced image of the 2021 production variant features noticeable styling updates. Coming to the front fascia, the updated motorcycle features a revised headlight which is now a single pod unit and replaces the twin-pod illuminator seen in the current-gen RC 390 variant. One can expect the brand to offer all-LED headlight and taillight setup to the updated motorcycle. The overall design language of the motorcycle has also been redesigned and now features more dominant lines and contours. The turn indicators on the motorcycle are now well integrated into the body fairing. In addition to this, the brand has also revised the pillion seat setup which can now be removed to access the under storage compartment. The brand has offered the all-new RC 390 with a new dark blue and orange colour scheme inspired from the new model of the 1290 Super Duke R while the chassis has also been revised. The present-gen KTM RC 390 is capable of offering 43.5HP of maximum power and a peak torque of 37Nm. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed transmission mated to a slipper clutch as standard. As we reported earlier, KTM is expected to launch the new model of the RC 390 at an online digital event by the end of this year and the India launch is expected to happen in early 2021. The sportbike was earlier expected to be unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in November this year but it won’t be happening as EICMA 2020 has been cancelled because of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic situation.
