All-New Indian FTR1200 & FTR1200S Officially Unveiled

Indian FTR1200 is now officially available in the US market for $12,999 (INR 9.60 lakh approx). The cruiser manufacturer made this extremely unique machine to showcase how effectively they can diversify the motorcycle segment with new additions. FTR1200 is also available in S variant, carrying a price tag of $14,999 (INR 11.07 lakh approx). The brand claims the engine to be 80% new, producing 120HP of maximum power at 8250 rpm and 115.2 NM at 6000 rpm. The engine comes with a 6-speed, slipper clutch paired gearbox. The flat tracker uses 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel. Also, Indian Motorcycle offers Sachs front and rear suspension with full adjustment control on the S variant. Based on a multi-tubular space frame, FTR1200 comes with specially developed Dunlop DT3-R flat track tires. The base variant is fitted with a single pod instrument console with digital-analog features while S comes with 4.3-inch TFT display for the same purpose. The motorcycle comes with USD forks, LED front headlight in a round casing and exposed frame for the aggressive look. Even the forks are golden finished on the higher spec model. They are using Brembo four-piston M4.32 caliper on the 320mm front dual disc brakes. The entire Indian range is available in India as CBU, leaving them with a great chance to bring a non-conventional product into the largest motorcycle market around the globe. Indian FTR1200 will command a price gap of around INR 1.50 lakh from the regular Scout variant. The S variant will be placed at a much higher point, rivaling none other than upcoming Harley Streetfighter.
