Hero Xtreme 200S was recently launched in India with a price tag of INR 98,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). The latest update on the bike comes in the form of a price hike of INR 900. After the recent hike, the Xtreme 200S now retails at INR 99,400. The Xtreme 200S is said to be the Karizma’s spiritual successor. The motorcycle is powered by a 199.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled carburetted engine.
The engine of the bike is good enough to produce 18.1 HP at 8000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm. Hero Xtreme 200S features a diamond type chassis. The suspension duties of the bike are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear end. The fully-faired motorcycle gets disc brakes at both ends with a single-channel ABS unit paired with the front disc brake.
The Hero Xtreme 200R also saw a minor price hike of INR 1000. The sports commuter is now available with a price tag of INR 91,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). The bike is powered by the same 199.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is doing duty on the Xtreme 200S, XPulse 200T, and the XPulse 200. The suspension duties of the Xtreme 200R are managed by 37mm telescopic forks at the front and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. It also comes with disc brakes at both ends with a single-channel ABS unit.
