Evolet Hawk Electric SportBike Officially Revealed: Rissala Electric Motors Private Limited recently debuted four new electric products in the Indian market. While two of them are electric scooters, the third product in the portfolio is an electric commuter motorcycle. Apart from these, the brand has also revealed India’s first all-electric quad bike by the name Warrior.
The launch event witnessed the unveiling of 4 new products while the brand also unveiled some of its upcoming electric products that are bound to be launched in the country shortly. One such amazing product is the Evolet Hawk, a fully-faired electric sportbike from the brand, which is likely to make debut in 2020.
The Evolet Hawk features a complete sports bike look with clip-on type handlebars, sporty fairing as well as a split seat setup. The motorcycle features a fully-digital instrument panel while gets a dedicated Evolet smartphone application that offers the rider with real-time information on the motorcycle including service reminder, over-the-air updates, geo-fencing and more.
On a single charge of the battery, the company-claimed range of the Evolet Hawk stands at 150 km while the top speed of the motorcycle scales at 80 kmph. In addition to this, the brand has equipped the motorcycle with 17-inch alloy wheels that add to its sporty appeal.
The braking duties on the motorcycle are handled by dual disc brakes at the front and a single-disc architecture at the rear. The Evolet Hawk gets telescopic forks at the front while the rear gets a monoshock absorber.
Though the brand has not yet disclosed the rest of the mechanical bits of the upcoming motorcycle, one can expect the Hawk sportbike to feature a lithium-ion battery as well as a waterproof brushless DC motor.
The brand is expected to launch the motorcycle at an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.25 lakh. Once launched in India, the all-electric fully-faired motorcycle will compete with the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 150, Yamaha R15 V3, and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 in the market.
