Following its every year’s trend, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has officially teased its fans by releasing a banner which says - "Ducati 2020 World Premiere". The company will unveil the new and updated models at the upcoming event on October 23 this year. Since the announcement, speculations have been flooding the internet which states that the new model can be the production version of the Ducati Streetfighter V4, the naked version of the Panigale V4 superbike.
The teaser image does not reveal any details of the upcoming product as the motorcycle featured in the banner is hidden under a bike cover with a Ducati logo. In a recent update, we witnessed a production-ready version of the Streetfighter V4 Prototype with a few camouflage tapes that concealed the design details of the bike. On digging deep into the design profile we realised that the fuel tank under the wrap didn't match up with that of the Streetfighter.
Another speculation claims that the bike in the teaser image, that has managed to capture everyone’s interest, could be the 2020 Ducati Multistrada V4. Sources have claimed that the company has been developing a flagship Multistrada model that will be equipped with a 1103cc V4 Stradale engine that made its debut on the Panigale V4 superbike.
As per one of the recent updates, the spy pictures of a test mule has been spotted in Italy that is believed to be the much-awaited 2020 Multistrada. The V4 engine is capable to generate a maximum power of 214HP and offers a peak torque of 124Nm. The engine is expected to be tuned to suit the characteristics of the next-gen adventure tourer. Apart from all these speculations, it is also being said that the upcoming bike is the 2020 model of the xDiavel cruiser motorcycle.
