One of the most illustrious companies, Big Boy Toyz, that has managed to set a benchmark in the field of the used car business, is now all set to invade the domain of used premium motorcycles. The company’s Gurugram showroom now showcases exotic bikes from supreme international brands like Ducati, Indian Motorcycles and Triumph. The company has added some of the popular models to its retail list that it will be sold through its online and offline platforms.
About the company’s ambitious venture, the founder of Big Boy Toyz, Jatin Ahuja said, "Looking at the ever-expanding consumer base of the two-wheeler market especially with the Gen Z craving for superbikes, Big Boy Toyz was ready to take the two-wheeler industry by storm. Thus we decided to foray into the segment. We are under discussions with other manufacturers too so would be adding more brands to our inventory shortly."
This prominent company, BBT, in order to add 80 superbikes to its inventory has invested around INR 2 crore that includes premium bikes like Ducati Diavel, Ducati Diavel (Limited edition), a number of bikes from Indian Motorcycles and also from Triumph Motorcycles. The company is also in conversation with other superbike manufacturers for the purpose. The models that are going to be available at the showroom will have four segments namely sports, cruiser, bobber, and naked.
In the coming future, the inventory may also be included with other bikes such as adventure motorcycles and modern classics as well. The showcased superbikes will be available in a price range of INR 5 lakh to INR 40 lakh. According to Big Boy Toyz, it considers premium bikes to those that are above 500cc segment. The company is offering these bikes at 30% lesser price tag as compared to the price of a new model. At present, Big Boy Toyz has a yearly turnover of around INR 250 crore and it has been in the business since 2009.
