Bajaj Bikes Model-Wise Sales Report (December 2019): Witnessing an overall Year-over-Year (YoY) as well as the monthly decline in sales, Bajaj Autos has been able to register a total of 1,20,776 units in sales in December 2019. The sales numbers are down by 21.25% when compared to the 1,53,358 units witnessed in Dec 2018. Similarly, the monthly sales are also down by a total of 29.67% when compared to the overall sales of 1,71,735 units sold in November 2019.
Following the same course, Bajaj Platina has been able to witness a total of 35,914 units in December 2019, getting itself the first place on the list, though the overall YoY decline has been bad for the motorcycle and stands at 38% when compared to the 58,474 units registered in Dec 2018.
The second spot on the list has been registered by Bajaj CT100, witnessing a total sales of 30,758 units in Dec 2019 as compared to 30,743 units registered in the same month last year. The YoY sales for the Bajaj Pulsar 150, one of the best selling motorcycles from the brand has been down by a total of 43%. The motorcycle has been able to register a total of 26,778 units in Dec 2019 as compared to the 47,145 units witnessed in Dec 2018.
The Bajaj Avenger 160 and the Dominar 400 are the only two motorcycles from the brand that have been able to witness an overall YoY increase in the total sales. The former has been able to record a total of 2,112 units in Dec 2019, registering a growth of 31% when compared to the 1,606 units recorded in the same month last year.
Similarly, the Bajaj Dominar 400 has witnessed an overall increase in the sales by 650% by recording a total of 180 units in Dec 2019 as compared to only 24 units recorded in Dec 2018. The Bajaj Discover 125 is the only motorcycle from the brand that has witnessed a 100% decline in the total sales for the last month.
