The front fender got a worthy replacement with this huge off-road specific, higher placed mudguard. The engine bay now gets added safety through crash bars that are useful in more than one way (occasional fog light holder). Capability of this Dominar was further raised through extended suspension travel of around 90 mm at the front.
Now, crawling over those odd stones won’t push you back with the same strength as they did before. Accessories on offer include knuckle guards and panniers at the rear. They are soon expecting to deliver the right size of boxes for this arrangement.
Bajaj Dominar 400 is a very capable product as it uses a powerful 373.2 cc, single cylinder engine producing 35 PS and 35 Nm of torque. The engine is fuel injected, liquid cooled and pairs itself to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. Major attractions for the model includes its thick front suspension, perfectly padded seats, LED lights, wide tyres and availability of ABS.
Ground Designs replaced the rear 150 section unit with dual purpose tyre for added ease and more traction on all surfaces. Overall, this conversion makes Bajaj Dominar 400 more rugged than its stock Sports Tourer profile.
