BS6 2020 Bajaj Pulsar 180F Neon Launched @ INR 1.08 Lakh

The BS6 2020 Bajaj Pulsar 180F Neon has been recently launched by the brand at a price tag of INR 1,07,827 (ex-showroom). The updated motorcycle is now available to the customers at the dealerships with a premium of INR 11,437 over its BS4 price tag of INR 96,390. The brand has not discontinued listing the BS4 price tag of the motorcycle which indicates that a few of the BS4 motorcycle variants are still available for sale with the dealerships which can be availed by the customers 10 days after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted. Powering the updated motorcycle is the same 178.6cc, SOHC, 4-valve, DTS-i single-cylinder engine that is now BS6-compliant and is capable of offering maximum power of 17.02HP @ 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.52Nm @ 6500 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The up-gradation to a BS6-compliant engine has not altered the power figure of the motorcycle while the torque has increased by 0.3Nm. The more refined engine is expected to increase the overall mileage of the sports motorcycle. Apart from the BS6-compliant engine, the updated motorcycle continues to feature similar cosmetic and mechanical bits. The suspension duties continue to be handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear features 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorbers. The BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 180F Neon continues to feature a disc brake setup at either side mated to a single-channel ABS as standard. The updated motorcycle competes in the market against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 180 2V which has been recently updated with a BS6-compliant engine.
