Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi is Coming Soon: Bajaj Auto has recently released a TVC video titled as “Pulsar Celebrating 18 Years of Thrill' to commemorate the 18th anniversary of their best selling product, Bajaj Pulsar in the Indian market. The popular motorcycle from the brand was launched back in November 2001 and has been able to set a record for itself considering the splendid design and powerful performance. The latest TV commercial from the brand showcases the all-new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 with a BS6-compliant engine and portrays how “thrilling” and “fun” it is to ride the motorcycle. The updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200 will be the debut product from the brand with a BS6-compliant engine while the launch of other BS6-compliant models under the brand’s portfolio will follow shortly after that. One of the most anticipated updates offered to the updated NS200 is the addition of a fuel injection system. In addition to this, the brand has further reduced the harmful emissions by offering a revised catalytic convertor that is mated to new oxygen and temperature sensors.

Though updating the motorcycle according to more-stringent BS6 emission norms will reduce the overall power and torque figures, one can certainly expect the new engine to offer better mileage. At present, the BS4, 199.5cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine on the current-gen Pulsar NS200 is capable of offering maximum power of 23.5HP and a peak torque of 18.3Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. For the upcoming BS6 Bajaj Pulsar NS200, the power and torque values have not been disclosed as of yet though one can expect the engine to be mated to the same 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is expected to feature a set of new decals in addition to getting all-new colour schemes. One can expect the updated motorcycle with an FI engine to get a premium of INR 8,000 to INR 10,000 over the present-gen NS200 variant which is available in the market at a price tag of INR 1.15 lakhs (ex-showroom).
