Bajaj has finally launched the much-talked-about Pulsar 125 Neon in the Indian market with a starting ex-showroom price tag of INR 64,000. The motorcycle is available in 2 variants, one is equipped with a front drum brake, and the second one gets a front disc brake. As far as the engine specs are concerned, the commuter motorcycle is powered by a 124.4cc, single-cylinder, 2-valve air-cooled engine, which is capable to generate a maximum power of 12 HP at 8500 rpm and 11 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Article image As expected, the 125 Neon is based on the Pulsar 150 Neon. The motorcycle features an exactly similar design like the 150cc model while the 125cc model is available with an option of 170mm front drum brake or a 240mm front disc brake. The rear end of the motorcycle gets a 130mm drum brake as standard. Here is the ex-showroom price list of the new Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon:
  • Front Drum Brake - INR 64,000
  • Front Disc Brake - INR 66,618
The above-mentioned price list is ex-showroom Delhi. Article image The suspension duties of the motorcycle are handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear end of the bike features twin shock absorbers. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is equipped with an 80/100-17 front tyre and a 100/90-17 tyre at the rear end. The 125cc commuter bike weighs 140kgs while the ground clearance stands 165mm. As the new Pulsar is under 125cc in terms of displacement, it is equipped with CBS (Combined Braking System) unlike the Pulsar 150 Neon, which is equipped with a 1-channel ABS unit. The bookings for the 125 Neon are now officially open while the deliveries will commence in a few days. Apart from the Silver+Blue colour combination, the motorcycle is also available in Black+Silver colour scheme.
