Taking into account the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Bajaj Officials have postponed the recently launched Bajaj Dominar 250’s media ride. The notice has been sent out to all the media bodies that were expected to be present at the Bajaj plant in Akurdi stating that the ride has been postponed for the media till the situation becomes normal in the country and the mass gatherings are allowed. The Bajaj Dominar 250 has been recently launched in India at a price tag of INR 1.60 lakh while features a similar design when compared to its elder sibling Dominar 400. The BS6-compliant 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine on the motorcycle is capable of churning out a maximum power of 27HP and a peak torque of 23.5Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The suspension duties on the motorcycle have been retained from the Dominar 400 though the disc brakes setup is now smaller. At present, the Bajaj Dominar 250 competes in the market with the likes of Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM Duke 250, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250, and the Yamaha FZ25.
