The 2020 BS6 Bajaj Dominar 400 has started reaching dealerships ahead of its official launch. The updated motorcycle is expected to be launched in India sometime in the coming weeks and will join the recently updated BS6 portfolio from the brand. In addition to this, the updated price tag of the motorcycle has also been revealed. The BS6 Dominar 400 will be available to the customers at a price tag of INR 1.92 lakhs which is INR 2,000 higher when compared to the price tag of BS4 version. Since the motorcycle was facelifted back in 2019 with a host of updates as well as improvement in the power figures, the BS6-compliant variant of the motorcycle has been imparted with only minimal changes. The updated sports machine has been equipped with an extra catalytic converter complying to the BS6 emission norms while the engine has been tweaked a bit to accommodate the revised ECU.

Starts Reaching Dealerships (Video)

Powering the 2020 BS6 Bajaj Dominar 400 is the same 373cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine that is capable of offering the similar 40HP of maximum power and a peak torque of 35Nm when compared to the BS4 version. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The BS6-compliant variant of the motorcycle continues to feature the similar disc brakes set up at either side while the dual-channel ABS remains standard. The suspension duties are handled by USD forks at the front while the rear continues to feature the same monoshock unit. The motorcycle in its BS4 avatar is available to the customers in two colour schemes namely Aurora Green and Vine Black while the BS6-compliant variant of the motorcycle is expected to be made available in additional colour variants though there has been no official confirmation received on the same.
