Bajaj Pulsar 220F is the favorite Pulsar among the fans from a long time, still stealing the show from the recently launched Pulsar AS200 with its effective performance and affordable price. The motorcycle has been recently spotted in its 2017 version, carrying the same body design with a bit of changes to its exteriors.

The paint scheme has now been shifted from dual tone to single tone, adding contrast shade stickers on the body. The exhaust has lost its metallic cover and now comes with Matt Black finish. The end is finished in chrome while the parts which connect the exhaust can to the body and even the exhaust pipe itself has been finished in Black.

Other changes that are reported include Blue-lit instrument console, which was Orange-lit in the currently selling Pulsar DTS-i range. The auto choke on the 220F is said to be replaced by manual choke. Considering all these changes, the Pulsar 220F seems to have downgraded itself instead of going up for the 2017 year model.

The engine is said to stay the same, 220cc oil cooled motor producing 21.05 PS @ 8500 rpm and 19.12 Nm @ 7000 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine is expected to be worked upon to provide better power delivery while even matching the BS4 norms in the same update. Bajaj Auto will be launching the complete 2017 series of Pulsars in India next month. Know More About the Current Gen 220F: http://autos.maxabout.com/bikes/bajaj/pulsar/pulsar-220f
