2017 Audi A4 Diesel Launched in India @ INR 40.20 lakh

2017 Audi A4 Diesel has been launched in India at INR 40.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The same car was launched in its petrol guise while the diesel version is currently being offered in A4 35 TDi variant only. The engine powering the same is 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder turbo diesel unit produces 190 HP of maximum power and 400 Nm of torque.

The new A4 35 TDi comes mated to a 7-speed S Tronic automatic transmission and comes in 120 kg lighter body than the older version. The next generation car offers 7 percent more power and efficiency than the 2016 version. The diesel A4 is now good for 7.7 second, 0-100 kmph sprint and claims a top speed of 237 kmph.

Audi claims a mileage of 18.25 kmpl for their most effective sedan in the lineup. They offer 17 inch Tornado design alloy wheels on the diesel model. The new car shares the same design as the 2017 petrol version, carrying those sharp LED headlights, dynamic turn indicators and 12.3 inch virtual cockpit with display modes.

A4 35 TDi comes with four driving modes namely Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Individual. The infotainment system pairs with 180W Audi 10 speaker system and offers Android Auto and Apple Carplay as standard. The demand for petrol cars increased over time but fuel efficiency of diesel still makes them hot cakes for sale.
