The most awaited product for scooter lovers in India, Aprilia SR 150 has been officially launched with a price tag of Rs 64,999 (ex-showroom Delhi). Being one of the most price effective and performance focused machine of India, all credit goes to Piaggio and Aprilia for taking the localization level to 90 percent for this product. The SR 150 is inspired from one of the most impressive racing machine in the industry, the RSV4. Aprilia SR 150 Launched @ Rs 65,000 The SR150 shares its engine with the flagship Indian Vespa 150 series. The 154.4 cc, 1-cylinder air cooled engine is good for 10.4 BHP at 6750 rpm and 11.4 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. It comes mated to an automatic gearbox. The SR 150 does not use Vespa 150's frame as it would have made it more expensive for no reason. Styling has been the most effective part of the Aprilia SR 150, even before the powerful engine is tested on this scooter. It comes in Black as well as White body shade, complemented by Red accents on the body panels as well as a dual tone seat with Red surround. The instrument console feels a bit simple but White background makes it more appealing than anything else around.   Aprilia SR 150 Launched @ Rs 65,000 The scooter uses a first in class, 14 inch alloy wheels with 120/70 section tyres. This makes the setup extremely stable and allows the scooter to cruise easily at speeds above 80 kmph. The front uses telescopic suspension (32mm forks) while the rear has a single arm shock absorber. The twin headlight has been studded within the lower body panel while the handlebar uses the Aprilia branding along with turn indicators. Aprilia now has one of the most effective product on the list of automatic 2 wheelers in India. It actually has no direct competition in the country while those willing for top most variant of Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125 would have a look at this machine, once for sure.
