5 Mahindra SUVs Expected to Hit the Roads in 2024!

The year 2024 is poised to witness the arrival of five eagerly anticipated Mahindra SUVs, marking the Indian automaker's strategic move to introduce new models and enhance its lineup. The upcoming releases include facelifts, new electric variants and extended versions, catering to diverse preferences. Let's delve into the exciting lineup Mahindra has in store for the coming year.

Mahindra Thar 5-door

  • Expected Launch: Second half of 2024
  • Expected Price: Rs 15 lakh onwards
  • Highlights: The Thar 5-door variant, a much-anticipated addition, is set to feature a fixed metal roof with a sunroof, an LED lighting setup, and the same engine options as the 3-door version. It is expected to offer both manual and automatic transmissions and come in both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and four-wheel-drive (4WD) configurations.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift

  • Expected Launch: March 2024
  • Expected Price: Rs 9 lakh onwards
  • Highlights: The XUV300, Mahindra's sub-4m SUV, is receiving a significant facelift with a new front fascia, LED DRLs, headlights, alloy wheels, and a connected LED tail lamp setup. The cabin is likely to feature a floating touchscreen system and may incorporate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Powertrain options are expected to remain consistent with the current version.

Mahindra XUV400 EV Facelift

  • Expected Launch: April 2024
  • Expected Price: Rs 16 lakh
  • Highlights: The XUV400 EV is undergoing a facelift in sync with updates to its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart, the XUV300. The electric SUV is expected to showcase a redesigned front fascia, updated alloy wheels and improvements in cabin comforts. Battery pack options are likely to be retained, offering enhanced driving range.

Mahindra XUV.e8

  • Expected Launch: December 2024
  • Expected Price: Rs 35 lakh onwards
  • Highlights: The XUV.e8 is an all-new electric SUV, essentially an electric variant of the XUV700. Built on the INGLO platform it accommodates battery capacities of 60 kWh and 80 kWh, offering fast-charging capabilities up to 175 kW. With rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) options it delivers impressive power with up to 285 PS for RWD models and up to 394 PS in AWD models.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus

  • Expected Launch: January 2024
  • Expected Price: Rs 10 lakh onwards
  • Highlights: The Bolero Neo Plus extends the Bolero Neo lineup, providing seating for up to 9 people. Expected to feature a 2.2-litre diesel engine with 130 PS and 300 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, it revives the TUV300 Plus under a new name. The Bolero Neo Plus presents an affordable alternative in the Mahindra lineup.
