In markets like India, Suzuki offers the XL6, a six-seater version of the vehicle, while the XL7 is available as a seven-seater in several ASEAN nations. Both models share similar specifications, but the XL7's seven-seat configuration emphasizes its "premium" MPV status.
The spotlight at the Bangkok International Motor Show was on the Suzuki XL7 Sport which has been equipped with several enhancements to distinguish it from the standard XL7 and boost its sporty appeal.
Exterior Enhancements
The Suzuki XL7 Sport maintains the original front fascia with minor adjustments, such as a completely blacked-out grille and a more pronounced chrome slat. The biggest change is a sizable roof spoiler at the back that emphasizes the car's sporty character and is branded with the Suzuki Sport emblem.
Additional exterior updates include a tailgate garnish with a glossy carbon fiber finish and the prominent Suzuki Sport branding. The same carbon fiber effect is applied to the door handle garnishes, providing both aesthetic appeal and practical paint protection from rings and other wear.
Interior Upgrades
Upon entering the Suzuki Ertiga XL7 Sport, occupants are welcomed by metallic scuff plates bearing the Suzuki Sport inscription, although these are not illuminated. Inside, the use of glossy carbon fiber effect plastics aims to inject a more dynamic feel into the otherwise standard MPV interior.
This faux carbon fiber detailing surrounds all door pads near the window controls. The cabin also features leatherette seat covers and sophisticated carpeting all adhering to a dark color scheme that complements the overall sporty theme.

Under the hood, the Suzuki XL7 Sport is powered by the familiar 1.5L K15B mild hybrid four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 103 bhp and 138 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The Suzuki XL7 is marketed in ASEAN nations including Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, and is also available in the North American market, specifically Mexico.
