Bajaj is gearing up to make a big splash in the motorcycle market with the upcoming launch of its 2024 Pulsar N250. The first official teaser of this bike has already created a buzz, hinting at a machine that's not just powerful but also packed with modern features and style.

A Fresh Look for the Pulsar N250

One of the highlights of the new Pulsar N250 is its updated aesthetic. Bajaj is set to introduce new color options and graphics, moving beyond the current Brooklyn Black shade. This change is aimed at giving the bike a more vibrant and diverse appeal, catering to riders who seek a combination of performance and style.

Tech-Savvy Updates

In today's connected world, riders expect their bikes to keep up with their digital lives. Recognizing this, Bajaj is upgrading the Pulsar N250 with a Bluetooth-based digital instrument cluster. This feature will allow riders to connect their smartphones to their bikes, enabling access to various functions such as calls, text messages, signal level, phone battery status, and turn-by-turn navigation, all through the Bajaj Ride Connect App. This integration is a step towards making the riding experience more seamless and convenient.

Enhanced Performance and Safety

Another significant update is the introduction of USD forks. This suspension upgrade is a response to the expectations of enthusiasts and is aimed at improving the overall performance and safety of the bike. USD forks are known for their superior handling and stability, especially at high speeds and on rough terrain. The inclusion of this feature is likely to enhance the riding experience, making it more enjoyable and secure.

Engine and Performance

Despite the various updates, the heart of the Pulsar N250 remains unchanged. It will continue to be powered by the 249.07 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, oil-cooled, FI engine. This engine is capable of delivering 24.5 PS of maximum power and 21.5 Nm of peak torque, providing a balanced and powerful ride. The engine is paired with a constant mesh 5-speed gearbox, ensuring smooth and responsive gear shifts.

Maintaining Safety and Comfort

The Pulsar N250 will retain most of its hardware components, including 300 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS for enhanced braking performance and safety. The rear monoshock suspension, 17-inch wheels, and 100/80 front / 130/70 rear tubeless tires further contribute to the bike's stability and comfort on various terrains.

Pricing Expectations

With the addition of new features like USD forks and a Bluetooth-based digital instrument cluster, the price of the Pulsar 250 twins is expected to increase. The current ABS models are priced at a starting point of Rs 1.50 lakh, and the updated versions are likely to command a premium for the added value they bring.
