2021 Yamaha R15 V3 Gets 3 New Colors in Indonesia: The 150cc motorcycle segment in Indonesia has become more competitive with the recent launch of the MY2021 Honda CBR150R. The new-gen model of the bike has been given a major visual overhaul as compared to the previous variant. The upgraded version of CBR150R will attract more buyers towards the product, so as to ensure that the fan following of R15 V3 does not get affected, Yamaha Indonesia has introduced three new colour schemes for the MY2021 of the sportbike - Metallic Blue, Matte Silver, and Matte Black. Yamaha is expected to launch these new shades in India after 4-6 months.
The Metallic Blue finish promises to give a premium and clean look to the bike, thus, providing an overall attractive outlook. The bike’s alloy wheels are also painted blue, while the golden USD front forks offer good contrast. The black side panels, exhaust, and seat enhance the overall sporty appearance of the motorcycle.
The Matte Silver colour makes the bike more attractive, perhaps, because of the fluorescent yellow alloy wheels making the bike funky and sporty for the riders who dare to buy this new colour scheme. If we talk about the new matte black paint, it consists of an all-black theme which becomes the USP of the bike. The golden USD front forks look much better in this colour scheme.
Apart from adding new colour options, Yamaha has made no other upgrades to the MY2021 R15 V3. The motorcycle is powered by the same 155cc single-cylinder engine that features VVA technology. The engine gives a max power output of 19.3 PS at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at 8500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. Yamaha has launched the MY2021 of R15 V3 in Indonesia with a price tag of IDR 37.08 million (INR 1.93 lakhs, approximate). On the other hand, the 2021 Honda CBR150R is available in Indonesia with a price tag of IDR 39.3 million (INR 2.05 lakhs, approximate). In India, the Yamaha R15 is available in three colour options - Racing Blue, Thunder Grey, and Dark Knight, and the ex-showroom price range starts at INR 1.48 lakhs.
