2017 Suzuki Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP were recently launched in India for INR 81,175 and INR 93,032 respectively. The top spec Gixxer SF SP with fuel injection can be bought for INR 98,928. Surprisingly, the fully faired motorcycle is priced for the same amount that is being charged for regular Gixxer SF with fuel injection. The addition of these two make the new lineup good for 3 naked Gixxer variants and 6 fully faired options under the SF moniker.

Suzuki Gixxer SP is based completely on the top spec naked Gixxer and lacks the use of advanced technological features like ABS and fuel injection. When it comes to
Gixxer SF, it comes with double disc as standard and offers the highest number of variants that can be offered under this segment. The range starts from INR 89,219 and goes up to INR 98,928. This makes Suzuki one of the few manufacturers to offer both the goodies under a difference of INR 10,000.
All of these variants are powered by 154.9 cc, single cylinder engine producing 14.8 PS at 8000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Gixxer Range presently offers the most affordable street fighter model and still outperforms most of them in real world performance values. The series rivals Yamaha FZ, Honda CB Hornet 160R, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Yamaha Fazer in its segment.
