The Maruti Swift Limited Edition, which was launched to clear out the current generation models, does not include a diesel variant. Instead, it features the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine producing 84bhp and 115Nm of torque. This edition is built on the L variants and is priced between the LXi/LDi and VXi/VDi variants, with the petrol version costing Rs 5.44 lakhs ex-showroom. I believe this move is a strategic one to push sales of the existing stock before the new generation arrives.

The Maruti Swift Limited Edition comes with several cosmetic updates, including decals on the hood, side, and rear of the vehicle. However, there are no significant changes in terms of exterior features like alloy wheels or daytime running LEDs. The decals make it stand out, and it is available only in white with blue decals. I think this is a nice touch for those looking for a unique look without breaking the bank.

Inside the Maruti Swift Limited Edition, there are notable upgrades such as black and blue sporty seat covers, a touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and better music quality speakers. These additions enhance the interior experience significantly. I believe these updates make the Limited Edition a compelling option for buyers seeking more features in a lower variant.

The Maruti Swift Limited Edition retains the same engine and transmission as the standard model, with no changes in mileage. The petrol engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and there is no diesel option available. I think this consistency helps maintain the reliability and performance expectations of the Swift.

The launch of the Maruti Swift Limited Edition is part of Maruti Suzukis strategy to clear inventory before introducing the new-generation Swift. This limited edition offers additional features and a unique look, making it an attractive option for buyers who want more value from their purchase. I believe this is a smart move to keep sales momentum going until the new model arrives.
