Maruti Suzuki has announced a recall of 2,555 Alto K10 vehicles due to a potential defect in the Steering Gear Box Assembly, which could affect the vehicles safety. The 2013 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 was equipped with a 1.0-litre K10B engine, delivering 68 PS of maximum power at 6200 rpm and 90 N·m of maximum torque at 3200 rpm. This engine was mated to a five-speed manual transmission and provided a significant upgrade in performance compared to its predecessors. The 2013 Alto K10 was launched with several styling updates, including a new front fascia and redesigned headlights. This model also marked the end of the F10-engined model and was later replaced by the Alto 800 in late 2012. The Alto K10 remained in production until 2014. I believe these updates helped keep the Alto K10 competitive in the market.
