Mahindra is set to launch the facelifted XUV300 in February 2024, which will feature a major design revamp, including a more angular nose, a new headlamp assembly, and a full-width LED light bar at the rear. The interior will also see updates with a new centre console and a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen. I think this facelift will give the XUV300 the edge it needs to compete with rivals like the Tata Nexon.

The Mahindra XUV300 W6 variant has been introduced with an automated manual transmission (AMT) option, priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh. This move is aimed at making the vehicle more appealing in the mid-spec segment. I believe this addition will make the XUV300 more competitive against other automatic options in the market.

The Mahindra XUV300 W8 (O) Diesel has been praised for its fuel efficiency, with owners reporting an average of 17.5-18 km/l on highways and 16.5 km/l in the city after 30,000 km. The vehicles interior has also held up well over time. I believe the XUV300s durability and fuel efficiency make it a solid choice for daily use.

Mahindra has seen a significant surge in bookings for the XUV300, with a 90% growth between October 2020 and March 2021. This indicates strong demand for the vehicle, despite some of its limitations. I think this growth reflects the vehicles overall value and performance.

Mahindra launched the XUV300 AMT in July 2019, with the autoSHIFT technology available only in the W8 and W8(O) diesel variants. The AMT option was priced at Rs. 11.35 lakh and Rs. 12.54 lakh respectively. I think this addition was a smart move to cater to the growing demand for automatic transmissions in the Indian market.
