About
The Mahindra Renault Logan is a compact sedan that stands out for its unique blend of space, comfort, and performance. It is available in various variants, including petrol and diesel options, all of which are manual transmissions. The car boasts a spacious interior with theatre-style seating, providing good visibility for rear passengers, and a large boot space of nearly 510 litres. Our take on this /// Verdict
The Mahindra Renault Logan is a robust and practical vehicle that has garnered a reputation for its reliability and durability in the Indian market. From my perspective, this car excels in several key areas. It offers ample space, both in the cabin and the boot, making it an excellent choice for family use. The suspension is well-tuned for Indian road conditions, providing a comfortable ride even on rough terrain. The fuel economy is commendable, with the diesel variant offering up to 19.2 kmpl, which is a significant advantage for those concerned about running costs. However, there are some drawbacks, such as the lower ground clearance and smaller tyres, which could be improved. Overall, the Logan is a value-for-money car that balances comfort, performance, and economy, making it a solid choice for those seeking a reliable sedan.
Price
The Mahindra Renault Logan is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom prices range from approximately 4.66 lakh for the base petrol variant to 6.38 lakh for the top diesel variant. When considering on-road prices, you can expect to add around 1-1.5 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes, bringing the on-road price to around 5.66 lakh to 7.88 lakh. This pricing makes the Logan an attractive option for those looking for an affordable and feature-packed sedan. The cost-effectiveness, combined with its durability and low maintenance costs, makes it a financially savvy choice.
