Yamaha FZS v2.0 returns a mileage of 45 kmpl when driven at normal speeds around 60-70 kmph. The bikes with fuel injection including both FZ and Fazer are tireless in long trips as they provide a very refined ride quality and no overheating issues. The seating position may irritate a bit to the pillion rider while having a short break after 200 kilometers would be required for sure. The fuel tank can take you nearly 500 kms without the need of a refill while riding on highway at the above given speeds. Sudden acceleration makes the engine suck in more petrol as compared to smooth addition of speed to the existing value.

Yamaha FZS comes with a hydraulic disc brake. This type of braking system helps slowing down the vehicle by generating braking torque by the pressure mechanism of the oil. With the lever being pressed, the pressure generated pushes the calipers into the brake pads, generating friction and resulting in a better braking mechanism. The advantages of this system includes faster cooling and efficient braking, with lesser wear and tear of the components. The FZS comes with a single front disc brake whereas the rear is managed by a drum brake only. It comes with a price tag of INR 81,580.

Bajaj Avenger is much more powerful than FZS V2. But mileage of FZS is more. Features of FZS are awesome. It has looks, features, good built quality. FZS is also a family ride bike. It has split seat. And the seats are more wide and comfortable now.. You must go for FZS v2
02 January 2023 06:31
There is no doubt that Avenger is more powerful than FZS because the big reason is 220cc VS 149cc...but in style and mileage Yamaha is ahead...FZS has quite good look & built quality than Bajaj's avenger & both bikes are family ride bike....and FZS have split seat and more comfortable than avenger....in my point of view where is good looks, good mileage, good built quality and more features there should I go....why should I go for avenger only for its more power? It will possible if the both bikes have same engines....there is a point to think...i think you should go for FZS F1 V2.0

Go to a different showroom and try there too. When it comes to mileage and engine refinement, you have to enquire an owner of the bike. Good Luck.

Yamaha FZS is better in terms of engine refinement and quality of riding when compared to Gixxer. The fuel injection makes the ride more smooth, improves its fuel efficiency and reduces the emissions from the motorcycles. Even the ride quality of the version 2.0 is much better than the first version and Suzuki Gixxer. The Yamaha FZS loses to the Gixxer when it comes to stats, in which the Gixxer clearly wins the game. It comes with nearly the same specifications like same sized tyres and body design, making it a tough choice between the both. But Yamaha at the end provides a much relaxed ride, with an option for rider and pillion to be safe and clean on wet roads with its tyre hugger. Even the price difference between the bikes would point out at Gixxer, but riding both once after the other will clearly state the difference. You are always welcome with any of your queries regarding the automobile industry.
