The Bajaj Avenger is currently available with the 220 cc engine and rumors about a 200 cc Avenger have been around from quiet a long time. Bajaj is focusing mainly on Pulsar brand at the moment and they will not be dealing with the Avenger till all the Pulsar cards have been exposed. We expect to have the same 200 cc engine in the Avenger which is shared in the Pulsar family at the moment.

As its not even a year old, you should consult the dealer you have bought the bike from and he may do the repairs under warranty only.
