I purchased a Yamaha Crux bike in July 2014. The bike get starts only when I raise the accelerator while it is rested in side stand. Fortunately, the bike gets starts without raising the accelerator when it is in center stand. Also, the petrol leakage below the engine between gear lever and white pipe (originated from battery) when I bend the bike!?, Kindly answer the question so that I can fix it my lovely bike's problem.

These technical problems can be easily cured by an experienced mechanic as doing it yourself would lead to the origin of some other problem. The petrol leakage comes from the overflow pipe and you can discuss that with the mechanic also. The starting problem can be due to the wrong setting of fuel mixture for the bike. As its not even a year old, you should consult the dealer you have bought the bike from and he may do the repairs under warranty only.
