Would the Arash AF-10 V8 fare well in a theoretical race against the Rimac Nevera?

by @sukhmandeepover 1 year ago0 views7 answers
Hypercar world is never standing still, and electric powertrains are currently giving their best against the good old combustion engines. The Arash AF-10 V8, with combined 2080 horsepower, is apparently the bridge between the two worlds. But the Rimac Nevera, an all electric hypercar, has been creating a stir by announcing some incredible performance figures. Both cars consider themselves the epitome of automotive technology, but how they get there is different. Therefore, this hypothetical matchup brings interesting questions with regards to the future of high performance vehicles and the equilibrium between traditional and electric powertrains.

The AF-10 could, however, have the edge in sound and drama. Not always who's the fastest, but who's show's the best.

Even if it's just for the spectacle, I'd love to see this race happen. It would be a great showcase of different ways to go extreme performance.

The Nevera actually has performance data to back such claims. All this is speculation until we see real numbers from the AF – 10.

To be real none of these cars will ever see a real race. Both are garage queens owned by billionaires to flaunt.

It isn’t only raw power. The AF-10 might have a better weight distribution and handling from the hybrid system. It could have an advantage on a twisty track.

The AF-10 should not be written off so soon. With that V8, it could be faster top speed and performance sustained. In a short sprint, the Nevera might take the victory, but it’s still not clear which car would win over a longer distance.

There would be no contest, the Nevera would smoke the AF 10. Rimac has proven tech, and electric motors have instant torque. At this point the AF-10 is all talk.
