Will the Hunter 450 get modern amenities like ride by wire and riding modes?

With motorcycles continuing to develop technologically, there's also growing interest in which modern features could make their way to the Hunter 450. The current 350 model is very basic in the way of electronics which some riders prefer for its simplicity. But since the 450 is aiming at a more performance oriented crowd, there is some talk about whether Royal Enfield will bring in more advanced tech, and the ride by wire throttle systems are becoming common in this segment, usually with features like riding modes and traction control. But some riders are excited at the prospect of these additions, believing they add versatility and safety. Some fear that more electronics will detract from the Hunter's character, and add to the maintenance complexity. Some argue that such features really aren't needed, or aren't as useful, on a bike in this category.

But they could surprise us with a TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity. It seems that is the trend these days.

I'd like to see some modern tech, riding modes would be great for going from city to highway riding.

I hope not, maybe on a top spec variant, but I doubt the base model will be full of fancy electronics. RE knows their audience.

To compete they'll have to add some modern features. I’m betting we’ll also see ride by wire and at least 2-3 riding modes.

I hope they keep it simple. What I like about the Hunter is its back to basics charm. That could be ruined by adding too much tech.
