Maruti Suzuki India is all set to launch the fourth-generation Jimny in India which will replace the ageing Gypsy in its line-up. The 4th gen Jimny is already being sold in international markets since mid-2018, and India is expected to be the production hub for the SUV. The latest generation of the Jimny is expected to come with a modern design, improved safety features, and a better engine. It is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, with a manual and automatic transmission option. The Jimny is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 8 to Rs 12 lakh. The launch of the fourth-generation Jimny in India will be a great addition to Maruti’s SUV range, and is expected to be a hit in the Indian market.
