by @ashutosh.kumarover 1 year ago0 views7 answers
Sony, Honda, and SoundHound AI’s SHM AFEELA 1 is coming to India. An advanced AI is featured in this high tech electric vehicle; including a voice driven conversational assistant. The AFEELA 1 is futuristic in design and features cutting edge technology that is sure to make a splash. India’s EV market is still nascent and faces challenges in infra and the adoption of the product by the consumers. This vehicle could prove to be the country's final push towards electric mobility. However, it may be priced out of a price sensitive market because of its premium positioning. The performance of the AFEELA 1 in India may be a precedent for future high end EVs in the country.

It has nothing to do with dominance in the short term. The AFEELA 1 will be a technology showcase, leading the way for future advanced EVs.

I'm cautiously optimistic. However, if they price it right and market it well, it could turn into a status symbol that will draw the upper – middle class to adopt EVs.

The infrastructure isn’t ready for a car like this, let’s be real. High end EVs like the AFEELA 1 will have a hard time until we have better charging networks and power grids.

You're all missing the point. AI integration is the real game changer here. If it works out, it could be a new benchmark for in car assistants in India.

I think it will have mixed impact. It won't be directly competing with mass market EVs, but could push local manufacturers to up their game when it comes to features and tech.

No way, man. It’s just another overpriced wheel with a gadget on it. India needs affordable EVs, not a fancy toy for the rich. It’ll be a niche product, at best.

Absolutely! This is exactly what India needs to start its EV revolution. With its tech from Sony, its reliability from Honda, and AI smarts, it'll show everyone what the future of driving is.
