Will Bajaj re-launch the Chetak in India?

Bajaj Auto has stated that they would not enter the scooter market at any cost as the prime focus of the brand is now on the rising demand of motorcycles in the Indian economy. The things were different a decade ago as Bajaj was the undisputed king of the Indian scooters. Change in preferences of Indian families pushed the market toward the motorcycles, thereby leaving only gearless scooter as an alternate to them and finishing the monopoly of the mighty geared scooters like Chetak and LML Vespa.
