Why the third row seating is not provided as an option in Hyundai Creta? If the boot is not used, the seat can be occupied and vice versa
Additional third row seating on the boot portion with AC vents would have been an additional advantage. This could have been provided in one of the variants . When the high end variants costs Rs. 13.50 lacs the price comes close to that of Toyota Innova which is powered by a 2.4 litre engine which also has a third row seating.
The third row of seating was avoided by Hyundai as the car would have crossed the tagline of the premium compact SUV. The point you have raised is totally true as Innova offers a full size 7 seat arrangement, that too with a bigger engine. This point makes the Creta look and sound overpriced. The concept behind Creta was to provide a SUV with better efficiency, premium features and compact design. Creta wins when we compare the fuel efficiency, features being offered and the size of both the cars. It comes with 3 engine options namely 1.6 petrol, 1.4 diesel and 1.6 diesel. The car comes with a starting price of INR 8.60 lakh and comes with automatic transmission variant in the top level diesel trim. It comes with an explosive design and advanced features.
