Why the brakes of Bajaj CT 100 so weak?
Why is the braking force of rear wheel of all CT 100s weak? Is it designed that way? Even new pads are installed and adjusted the arm, the brakes are still weak? Why is that?
The brakes on the CT100 measures 110 mm for both the front as well as the rear wheel. Many other bikes offer 130 mm brakes in the commuter segment while Bajaj may have carried over the decade old size for the brakes in it's newly launched CT100. It is also a part of cost cutting technique while it can prove dangerous in the real world driving conditions. The Bajaj bikes have significantly improved on many features in the current times but it's delay for basic safety is not a good move for the coming time.
