Why Maruti discontinued the Esteem? Will they re-launch it in future?
My question is why Maruti has stopped the manufacturing of Esteem vxi because I believe it's great car in compared to Swift Dzire i have already two car n I bought Dzire also but am feeling more comfortable in esteem. So my question is company can restart esteem production in future?
Maruti Suzuki discontinued the Esteem because it has ended it's life cycle and started looking outdated with all the other cars evolving into a better shaped ones. Esteem was a great car with excellent 1298 cc, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 84 BHP and 110 Nm of torque. Products end up giving their life when the cycle completes and those only which have been selling in very high numbers are retained by the company. Alto and Swift are examples of those cars which are under regular development due to their high sales figures every year.
