Why is BMW i8 so costly in India?
In USA the BMW i8 price is 139650 dollor , then why it is selling in India so costly @ 2,40,00,000 rupees, what is the reason? We want to know.

The reason behind the cost of BMW i8 is that it is brought to India as a CBU(Completely built unit) and the import duty on CBU route is nearly 110 percent. That makes it very costly and if it was built in India only, the cost would have been lesser than half of what we pay today.
