Why didn’t Yamaha launch the Red & White Yamaha R3 in India?
Why don't Yamaha sell the red and white color in the Indian market! I am eagerly waiting for Yamaha R3 to be launched in India since Jan 2015; I don't care about the ABS but the red and white colour?? Why didn't they introduce the red and white R3 version?
Yamaha has launched the much awaited R3 in Racing Blue and Lightning Black shade only. The reason for the same would be the lower probability of sale of the Red shade in India. Yamaha sells most of its bikes in its signature Blue shade and limited edition models are mostly showcased in other shades. It also raises the probability of launch of the Red and White shade in a limited edition model, depending upon the sales of the current shades of the bike. Yamaha powers the R3 with a twin cylinder 321 cc engine and every unit of the same is imported via CKD route. In that, the company sends completely knocked down units of bikes, which are assembled locally. Yamaha R3 has been price at INR 3,25,000 for the current shades.
