Which one is the better all-rounder, the XC F or the EXC F?

The KTM 250 XC-F and EXC-F are both popular models; however, they are designed for somewhat different purposes. The XC-F is set up for racing, and the EXC-F for enduro and trail riding. This difference is at the heart of ongoing debates as to whether one of these bikes is more versatile for riders who want to do a bit of everything. Suspension setup, gearing, and street-legal components are also a factor. One group contends that if you're willing to modify the XC-F, it can be ridden on the trail, while another says the EXC-F is ready to go right out of the box for all types of riding.
