Honda Activa and Dio are actually same scooters from their underpinnings. The difference we see is just because both have been made to target two different sections of our society. The Activa gets a traditional design with handlebar mounted front headlight and indicators. It has got some stylish curves and excellent tail lights in its 3rd generation. On the other hand, the Dio comes with a moto scooter design with headlight embedded into its front body. This makes it look different and hence attract the buyers who wish for a different approach. Both the scooters are having a 109.2 cc motor producing 8 BHP and 8.83 NM of torque. The seat height, transmission, fuel tank, top speed, tyre size and braking system remains same on both the scooters. Honda retails the Active 3G for INR 49,400 whereas the price of Dio has been kept lower that the other figure.
