BHP and CC are interdependent. BHP is the total power which can be channeled to the tyre. CC is the total displacement of the engine pistons. All other factors remaining constant, if you increase a vehicle's cc, the bhp also increases. However, it isn't always necessary that a higher cc means a higher BHP, especially in the case of two different vehicles. In such a case, the one with a higher BHP will most likely perform better. If you install superchargers or turbochargers, you can increase BHP substantially.
