Where does the XUV 3XO stand in terms of build quality when compared to its rivals?

by @ashutosh.kumarover 1 year ago0 views7 answers
In India too, the quality of build has a hot topic with the consumers becoming more conscious of safety and durability. As a relatively new entrant, the XUV 3XO has generated discussions about how well it compares with established players in the segment on the build quality front. The doors and structure feel solid, some users say, while some others complain of panel gaps or interior materials. Debates have been had about how much build quality one should expect for the money with all the features and whether Mahindra has made much of an improvement from past product offerings. It's a conversation that often leads to rival comparisons with Tata and Hyundai and questions about how build quality correlates to long term reliability.

It's good, we'll see how it holds up after a few years. Isn't that the real test?

During the test drive I was impressed. It seems to be able to take a beating and keep on truckin’.

The overall structure feels very solid, but on the interior plastics could be better.

It was way better than my old Maruti but not quite at Tata's level yet. Getting there, though!

Decent, but I saw some uneven panel gaps. Not a deal-breaker, though.

Solid as a tank! For the price point this feels much more premium than I expected.
