The Yamaha FZ25 was launched in India on January 24, 2017. It features a 249cc air-cooled, SOHC, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 20.9 PS at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 20 N*m at 6,000 rpm. The bike was priced at Rs 1.2 lakh at the time of its launch and is available in several color schemes.
